Berenjak, Borough Market, London – England

Share

Berenjak is named after the handfuls of brightly coloured, toasted rice eaten as a snack at funfairs in Persia.
Passing through the typical Persian shop window, one is greeted by an open kitchen, offering a full view of the chefs at work with the flaming tanoor, mangal barbecue and vertical rotisserie, all traditional tools of the Persian cook.
Exposed brick walls hung with delicate artwork contrast with the stained glass windows and Persian carpets lining the floor of the Hayat, while flickering candlelight casts a warm glow over the tables.
Berenjak is part of the JKS Restaurants Group.
This is a first look exclusive for you! The opening date is 25th May.
