A native of the Northern Virginia, DC Metropolitan area, Joseph Tran is a commercial photographer specializing in architecture, interiors, lifestyle, and food/product photography. His work has been featured in national marketing campaigns, and his commercial clients have included Guitar Center/Music & Arts, Canon USA, and Sheraton Hotels. Joseph is well-versed with a technical background in engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and brings that discipline to all areas of his photography. From creative direction to location and lighting, he manages the complete lifecycle of an advertising photoshoot. Most recently his work was exhibited at The Discovery Channel’s headquarters in Silver Spring, MD for Asian Heritage month. When not shooting professional work he spends his time with his wife exploring the diversity of the Washington DC area.
