Manu Studios is an architecture, planning and design firm based in Northern California. As a full-service integrated design practice, we operate at the confluence of design, business and life. We seek a holistic approach to the design and construction process.
Working closely with clients, we create experiences that are specific and tailored to meet their unique needs. From feasibility and concept through construction, we create spaces that reinforce a clients identity and brand. We collaborate closely with our clients, engineers, contractors, fabricators and artists to flesh out project details. Our design process is iterative and based on self inquiry and exploration. We ask a lot of questions and think a lot about what if. Through open dialogue and collaboration, all ideas are challenged and design solutions are synthesized.
The word Manu means ‘bird’ in Samoan. The notion of flight or to soar above…is at the core of our design DNA.
Manu Studios is led by principal, Chris Hall, an architect and designer with over 25 years of experience crafting spaces and places for both the public and private sectors. Chris leads a small team of passionate designers in this pursuit to provide service based design solutions that soar above the status quo.
