REM’A – Romeu Ribeiro + José Pedro Marques arquitectos REM’A arises from a common thought: the inseparable (co)relationship between man and the spaces he inhabits, a correlation that is increasing with the fleeting way in which contemporary society consumes time, culture and places. We see each project as a new experimental field, without preconceptions.

Our architectural lexicon expands as we develop project(s). Each opportunity closes in on itself, seeking to complete the development cycle of the idea. Our methodological approach is based on a dynamic process. We always look for a conceptual matrix that allows us to strike a balance between programme – language – construction system, although this order can be subverted.

Once we have found the intellectual comfort of a well-structured idea, a kind of architectural syllogism, we expand the discussion to our clients.
