Mirco Cavallo was born in 1964 in the province of Treviso, Italy. He graduated in Architecture in 1993 from the IUAV University of Venice, completing a training path enriched by international experiences and stimulating collaborations. Already in 1990, while still a student, he took part in the international competition for the New Acropolis Museum in Athens, working alongside his mentor, architect Toni Follina. A pivotal experience that marked the beginning of a professional and personal journey driven by curiosity, openness, and a desire to experiment. Throughout his career, Mirco worked across Europe and South America—especially in Chile-developing a multicultural and artistically open design approach, deeply rooted in human sensitivity. In 1995, he founded STUDIOCAVALLO21 in Treviso, a studio focused on architecture, interior design, and product design. Around the same time, he began a meaningful collaboration with Cleto Munari, world-renowned designer and close friend, which helped refine his aesthetic vision. In 2015, he moved to Cologne, Germany, where he established SUPERSTUDIO21, a design studio specializing in hospitality, retail, and entertainment projects. After ten years of work across Europe, in 2025 Mirco embraced a new chapter, returning to a more intimate and personal dimension by continuing his practice under STUDIOCAVALLO21 Germany, still based in Cologne. A new beginning, driven by the desire to express a free, authentic, and deeply personal design vision.
