Il Corso is a restaurant nestled within a family tennis club — a place born at the intersection of two worlds: the elegance of sport and the art of refined leisure. In shaping its identity, we turned to Italian motifs: the unhurried rhythm of countryside life, the shade of cypress trees on a hot afternoon, and the taste of wine against the backdrop of Tuscan hills.
A soft palette of terracotta and olive green, natural wood, and stone creates the atmosphere of a Mediterranean villa. The spacious main hall resembles a stone-paved courtyard filled with olive trees, while gentle lantern light brings a sense of intimacy as evening falls.
Located on the second floor without traditional façade windows, the restaurant opens up with a panoramic view of the tennis courts. It’s the perfect vantage point — for parents watching their children’s first steps in the sport, young players observing professionals, or guests simply enjoying the match.
The space’s focal point is a sculptural ceiling light installation that extends above like a starlit sky. Additional lighting comes from localized fixtures that resemble traditional Italian lanterns.
The bar balcony, raised slightly above the main floor, offers bartenders a clear view of the room. Its support — a dramatic glass column made of tennis balls frozen in motion. Nearby, a wine room awaits true connoisseurs, complete with a dedicated aperitivo trolley.
A communal table invites lively discussions of serves, wins, and challenges, crowned by an oversized pergola shaped like a tennis racket. Adjacent to it, a cabinet maze holds memories: trophies, souvenirs, and awards — each compartment telling its own story.
A more intimate room is dedicated to the evolution of the tennis racket — from vintage wooden models to ultralight carbon-fiber versions. Here, oversized tennis balls have transformed into ceiling lights, while custom chandeliers handcrafted by Kyiv artisans reinforce the contemporary ambiance.
Il Corso is a place where sport and style are intertwined in emotion: unhurried, delicious, and inspired.
