The design of this coffee shop, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, was created by Studio Manon Delafoy. Envisioned as a cocoon in the heart of bustling Paris, the space stands out for its soft and harmonious atmosphere. Away from the city’s hustle, it offers a serene retreat through an aesthetic concept centered on curves and rounded lines, bringing fluidity and warmth to the space.
A subtle gradient of light tones, combined with carefully selected materials such as polished concrete and traditional zellige, gives the space a unique and distinctive identity. Every element interacts seamlessly, creating a delicate balance between modernity and craftsmanship.
At the heart of the renovation, the bar emerges as a sculptural centerpiece. Its trio of polished concrete shades forms a refined gradient that instantly draws the eye, while its rounded shapes visually soften the space. In the background, a softly curved arch, adorned with golden zellige and warm wood accents, adds texture and authenticity.
In terms of décor, chamotte stoneware and concrete lighting fixtures add a raw, organic touch, reinforcing the character of the space. Works by Marine Echavidre, as well as those by creators Jérémy Niquet and Anje Fontaine, represented by Virginie Lesage and Catherine Paoli, further enhance the uniqueness of this setting.
