Located in Montreal’s Saint-Henri neighborhood, the restaurant reflects the legacy of chef Tri Du, through a design narrative that honors Japanese minimalism while disrupting it with unmistakably modern energy.
The space is defined by a curated lighting program—part concert, part dream—that transforms exposed industrial components into expressive design elements. Signature light fixtures float above the bar: galvanized steel frames wrapped in translucent Japanese rice paper, glowing before a stainless steel background. The bar itself is a sculptural grid and black metal tubing topped with glass, offering a sense of openness and reveal.
The seating program draws from an iconic 1960s Tokyo bar, reinterpreted with curved steel tubes and transparent vinyl cushions, exposing the hand-formed interiors beneath.
