Intricacy in Every Interior Detail
Stepping inside, the interior showcases the fusion of traditional and contemporary design elements. Here, material selection and arrangement play a vital role. Natural wood, bamboo, rattan, and stone are used for surfaces, walls, and floors, providing a warm and inviting ambiance. The walls may feature lacquer paintings or folk art that reflects cultural heritage. Additionally, modern elements such as LED lighting and minimalist metal and glass furniture are thoughtfully arranged to balance the old and new.
BSA recreated a nostalgic atmosphere with traditional tiled roofs complemented by large glass windows, preserving the classic style while adding a sense of openness and modernity. Carved details on pillars and eaves are simplified to fit the minimalist contemporary trend, yet still retain the essence of traditional architecture.
The restaurant’s layout is intelligently divided to ensure privacy for each group while maintaining a spacious and airy feel. The main dining area may feature large tables for groups, with modern wood chairs paired with traditional details like carved patterns. At night, a mix of traditional lanterns, chandeliers, and modern LED lighting creates a soft, warm, and romantic ambiance. This project’s standout feature is its bold color scheme—reds, yellows, oranges, and greens—strikingly coordinated to add a touch of individuality without overwhelming the space.
