VaffaNapoli is a story of Italian classicism meeting lighthearted irreverence – a tribute to Italian culture and the love of food, served in an atmosphere of relaxed elegance. The space invites both family gatherings and romantic dates in an intimate setting.
The design is grounded in a natural material palette: travertine, marble, and wood, complemented by beiges and greens that evoke olives and the sandy streets of Naples. This calm is offset by a pink-brick hue that enlivens the bar, staircase, and restrooms, adding energy and character to the interior. Natural wood furniture enhances the rustic charm while ensuring guest comfort, and softly draped curtains envelop the space, bringing warmth and subtle elegance.
The bar, featuring a pizza oven, is the focal point of the ground floor, with tables arranged around it. A glass and steel canopy frames the kitchen, making it the heart of the restaurant from the moment guests enter. The basement is arranged as a more intimate zone with a playful layout – alcoves offer privacy, while tables in the center can be combined into one long communal table, perfect for feasting together.
The color palette creates a harmonious mood – greens and beiges establish a sense of calm, while the pink-brick accent breaks the monotony, injecting personality and dynamism. Carefully designed lighting enhances the atmosphere. Particularly striking are the custom-made round green lamps, created in collaboration with Chors. These unique lighting elements not only add character to the cozy alcoves but also echo the soft, rounded shapes throughout the space.
VaffaNapoli proves that Italian hospitality comes in many shades – from tradition and playfulness to modern design, all wrapped in warmth, texture, and a distinctive atmosphere that sets it apart.
