Woosabi is a chain of venues designed as urban oases – an urban jungle infused with a temple-like atmosphere. The Kraków location, the latest in the series after Wrocław, Gdańsk and Innsbruck, emphasizes sacred symmetry, verticality and the monumental presence of the bar as a place of worship. Soft booths and lush greenery create an atmosphere of ritual.
The main challenges included integrating the oversized bar, maintaining the urban jungle mood and designing a mezzanine with romantic balconies. All of this had to be achieved while preserving axial coherence and making full use of the space’s height to enhance the experience of an “urban portal.”
The result is a space full of contrasts featuring a monumental bar (7.2 × 5 meters), a mandala (1.8 meters), an open mezzanine and an exposed crane. The mezzanine was redesigned and a staircase added to strengthen the sacred symmetry. This is a conceptual continuation of Woosabi’s cohesive network of urban sanctuaries.
