Zynnia introduces a boutique dining concept that brings together handcrafted detail, organic design, and a mindful approach to space. With just 83.6 square meters, the project embraced the challenge of a small footprint by creating an open, fluid layout that feels far more expansive than its dimensions suggest.
The design draws on a handcrafted sensibility, where every detail contributes to a personal and intimate atmosphere. Retaining select existing elements and blending them seamlessly with new interventions allowed the space to maintain continuity while evolving into something fresh and contemporary. Beige tones were chosen as the primary palette, offering warmth and calmness while serving as a neutral canvas for the restaurant’s refined culinary experience.
The concept of mindful eating shaped the entire approach. Rather than overwhelming the senses, Zynnia’s design encourages guests to slow down, engage with their surroundings, and savor each moment. Subtle organic lines and carefully chosen textures echo this philosophy, ensuring the environment mirrors the restaurant’s values.
Despite its modest size, Zynnia feels open and welcoming. Layout planning was used strategically to maximize flow, accommodate a variety of seating arrangements, and maintain a sense of spaciousness. The interplay of retained features with new handcrafted elements lends authenticity, while the restrained material palette reinforces the boutique identity.
What distinguishes Zynnia is its quiet originality. It does not attempt to impress through scale, but through a thoughtful blending of simplicity, craftsmanship, and atmosphere. The result is an intimate dining space that embodies balance—between old and new, crafted and organic, personal and social.
